Stickers and labels are naturally a big part of Klin d’Oeil’s business. They use them not only in-store, but also as a marketing tool for events and meetings. We took the opportunity to chat with Émilie and Virginie about how they incorporate stickers and labels into their business
StickerApp: Hi Émilie and Virginie, why did you choose to print wall stickers?
Klin d'Oeil: For every exhibition we host, we love to redesign our gallery space in the boutique. This space is entirely transformable, allowing us to express our creativity freely! For the scenography of our Argile exhibition, we wanted to experiment with XXL stickers. Furthermore, at our Christmas Market at the Carreau du Temple, we needed to communicate on a large scale! With over 1,800m² of space, XXL stickers were perfect for decorating our photo booth and creating clear signage for the different areas.
StickerApp: Sounds fun! Where do you apply them, and in what ways do you use them?
Klin d'Oeil: Whether in our boutique or at events, we apply them to our window displays, walls, furniture, and floors. They stick to every surface without causing damage, they are super-easy to apply, and can be peeled and repositioned multiple times. And the colors pop beautifully!
StickerApp: For your Christmas Market, we also printed stickers for the participating artists and some co-branded Klin d’Oeil stickers. What formats and materials did you choose, and why?
Klin d'Oeil: We created a series of small stickers featuring Klin d’Oeil’s universe! For these, we experimented with different effects and materials. They are super-easy to enjoy and play around with, and we are BIG FANS! The stickers have been a huge hit both at our boutique and the Christmas Market, especially the one featuring Wesley, our poodle, who’s the Klin d’Oeil mascot.
StickerApp: Did you receive any feedback from the artists and their stickers?
Klin d'Oeil: Oh yes, tons! The creators loved testing their designs as stickers! It’s truly a great creative and communication tool for everyone. A lot of the creators are also eager to try the wall sticker XXL format for their events and shops.
