As if a boutique gallery wasn't enough: Klin d'Oeil is also a creative agency, a café, and a major annual event dedicated to creators at the Carreau du Temple in Paris.

Meet the sisters and co-founders, Émilie and Virginie

StickerApp: Hi Émilie and Virginie! It's a pleasure having you with us. Please, tell us: who are you, and what do you do?

Klin d'Oeil: Thank you, the pleasure is ours! For the past 10 years, we’ve been curators, sharing our handmade favorites: ceramics, decor, stationery, prints, accessories, jewelry… What we love the most is discovering emerging talents and helping them shine!

Our community is made up of both French and international creators, as well as customers passionate about handmade and DIY creations.

StickerApp: You are frequent stickers and labels users; in what ways are they part of your marketing?

Klin d'Oeil: Yes! We love to redesign our gallery space in the boutique for every exhibition. This space is entirely transformable, allowing us to express our creativity freely! For the scenography of our Argile exhibition, we wanted to experiment with XXL-stickers, which is why we settled for wall stickers!

We applied them to our window displays, walls, furniture, and floors. They stick to every surface without causing damage.

StickerApp: How did wall stickers help in organizing a festival?

Klin d'Oeil: At our Christmas Market at the Carreau du Temple, we needed to communicate on a large scale! With over 1,800m² of space, XXL-stickers were perfect for decorating our photo booth and creating clear signage for different areas (creator stands, food, workshops, etc.). And guess what: it paid off! We had a lot of creators asking about the stickers and how to create their own for their events and shops.

StickerApp: How cool! It sounds like they made an impact?

Klin d'Oeil: Absolutely! We also printed stickers for the participating artists and some co-branded Klin d’Oeil stickers. The also became a huge hit, both at our boutique and the Christmas Market—especially the one featuring Wesley, our poodle, who’s the Klin d’Oeil mascot.

StickerApp: What feedback did you get from the artists?

Klin d'Oeil: The creators loved testing their designs as stickers! We experimented with different materials and effect placements—it’s really easy to go crazy and have fun with them. Stickers are truly a great creative and communication tool for artists.

StickerApp: You are also avid users of our labels on roll—in what ways are you using them?

Klin d'Oeil: We use labels on roll to seal our gift bags at checkout—it really completes the look! Our customers love the extra touch. The mix of different designs on the same roll makes each package feel unique! Our customers LOVE getting something a little different each time.
